Science Gate Publishing (SGP) as a scholar publisher osculates the ethical standards existing to ensure high-quality scientific publications.
Publishing ethics issues such as plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, conflicts of interest and the like are taken into account very seriously with zero tolerance from our editors.
Science Gate Publishing (SGP) follows the Code of Conduct of the Commitee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies the COPE Flowcharts for Resolving Cases of Suspected Misconduct.
Sanctions
If any of the above mentioned issues in any of SGP’s publications (journals and books) is verified as being violated, the following sanctions will be applied:
- Rejection of the infringing manuscript.
- Rejection of every other manuscript submitted to any journal or book published by SGP by any of the authors of the infringing manuscript.
- Prohibition against all of the authors for any new submissions to any journal or book published by SGP, either individually or in combination with other authors of the infringing manuscript, as well as in combination with any other authors. This prohibition will be imposed for a minimum of 12 months.
- Prohibition against all of the authors from serving on the Editorial Board of any journal or book published by SGP.
